      25G SFP28

SOPTO SFP28 optical transceivers are designed for use in 25GBASE data rate over multimode or single model fiber. They are compliant to IEEE 802.3by, SFF-8472 Rev 12.2 and SFF-8402, and compatible with SFF-8432 and applicable portions of SFF-8431 Rev. 4.1. The optical transceiver is compliant per the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.SFP28 is a 25GBASE interface which has evolved from 100 Gigabit Ethernet, which is typically implemented with 4 × 25 Gbit/s data lanes. Identical in mechanical dimensions to SFP and SFP+, SFP28 implements one 25 Gbit/s lane for top-of-rack switch to server connectivity. SFP28 may also be used to "break out" a single 100GbE port in a top-of-rack switch into four 25 Gbit/s individual server connections. SFP28 supports optical or copper interconnects.

      40G QSFP+

SOPTO QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) is a new Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) for high speed application, such as 40G-BASE, which provide four channels of data in one pluggable interface. Each channel is capable of transferring data at 10Gbps and supports a total of 40Gbps. The 40Gbps QSFP+ transceiver is well suited for Infiniband and 40GBASE-SR4/CSR4/IR4/ER4 applications. It combines the higher density attractions of parallel modules with some of the key advantages normally associated with SFP+ based modules. It is intended for using different reach applications in switches, routers and data center equipment where it provides higher density and lower cost when compared with standard SFP+ modules.

SOPTO’s QSFP28 SR4 / QSFP28 100G IR4 / 100GBASE-LR4 QSFP28 Optical transceiver module are designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet links. They are compliant with the QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3 100GBASE and OTU4. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by the QSFP28 MSA.An optical fiber ribbon cable with an MTP/MPO connector can be plugged into the QSFP28 SR4/LR4 module receptacle.

      PON SFP

SOPTO‘s PON SFP is a series of optical transceiver modules operating in Passive Optical Networks (PON).From the Central Office’s (CO) Optical Line Terminal (OLT, with PON SFP transceiver/module) a single strand of fiber goes out to a passive optical splitter where its signal is multiplied to maximum 128/64 different lines in GPON/EPON. The Transmit and Receive signals operate on different wavelengths realizing bi-directional operation at 1490nm/1310nm wavelengths over a single fiber.Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) ITU G.984 standards have defined downstream data rates up to 2.5Gbps. Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (GEPON or EPON) IEEE 802.3ah standards have defined downstream data rates up to 1.25Gbps.

      High Speed Cable

High-speed cables can be selected within a short distance of 1~50 meters, and the optical module + fiber patch cord combination can be selected for a long distance of more than 150 meters. For short-distance direct connections between data center racks, there are three types high speed cable DAC, AOC.DAC Direct Attach Copper Cableis are further divided into passive copper cable and active copper cable. In most data center, most server to server connections require 2-5 meters, while rack to rack connections are required to be connected by 8-12 meters cables.Passive copper cableare widely chosen by data centers for connecting servers to servers or servers  to the Top Of the Rack (TOR) switch as they are passive, consume zero power, have the lowest latency and cost-effective.Active copper cable, which is less expensive and can support  transmission up to 15 meters with low power consumption, can satisfy the regular interconnection requirement for distance and cooling in most data center.SOPTO offers a wide range of products for 0.5m to 15m lengths and in QSFP+, SFP+ form factors.AOC Active Optical cables offer a flexible way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks. AOCs support farther inter-rack distances. AOCs are much thinner and lighter than DACs, which makes cabling easier. Active optical cables enable efficient system airflow, which is critical in high-density racks.SOPTO offers a wide range of products for 1m to 100m reaches, in QSFP28, QSFP, SFP28, SFP+ form factors and data rates of 10G~120G.
